Holder of an engineering degree (major in electrotechnics), Claude GUIU started his career in the R&D department of Brown Boveri, an international company particularly specialized in engine technology.
His taste for innovation and entrepreneurship led him thereafter to create several documentation centres under the aegis of INPI and AFNOR, and then to create his own IP firm in Dijon, Paris, Strasbourg, Lyon, Chalons-en Champagne and more recently Besançon.
With more than thirty years of experience in Intellectual Property, he now has deep knowledge and mastery of the procedures and strategies to value innovation. He chose to specialize in IP Law after a Bachelor Degree in Business Law and a DESS in Tax Law. After several experiences in Dijon and Paris in law and accounting firms, he joined the profession of Attorney-at-law and graduated as valedictorian from the Regional Lawyer School of Grand Est Strasbourg. He joined JurisPatent in 2013 to reinforce the Legal Department. Thanks to his dual scientific and legal training and his background as a former lawyer, he has been able to share his expertise in litigation cases relating to trademarks, designs, copyrights and patents, as well as in contractual engineering.
